We had our daughter's scalp H removed a year ago when she was 4 months old. We also have United insurance, and they did cover it. The dr's office dealt with them, so I'm not sure how they got it...

My daughter had hers removed at 4 months old. She is now 15 months and you would never know it was there, and there are no signs of it coming back.

My daughter had hers surgically removed in January - our insurance covered, but I got itemized bills. For the Dr, hospital, anesthesia, and labs it was about $9,000
