Hi,

Yes, from what I know Michaels birthmark has been removed for the most part. I think he still gets maintance treatments though to keep it from coming back. I he is one of the luckyer ones. I have a very thick and dark PWS so it is a lot harder to remove.

Laser treatment diffently does not scar. But every once and a while you will find a doctor that is not train correctly for this condition that does not set up the machine right. But that is highly not going to happen. The V-Beam Pulse Dye Laser is the most common one used and is safe on infants.

If you have not found a doctor yet or might be interested in another opinion check the physican list under the resource section at the top of this page. Also, you can ask one of the experts on the home page of this website. Dr. Nelson is the PWS expert and he is very good with laser info and getting back to people quickly that have questions.
