My son is almost 8 weeks. we noticed his hemangioma on his cheek next to his ear when he was about 2 weeks. It has grown rapidly since, from a small lump to a ping pong ball.
I had no complications during pregnancy or birth. I had him 1 week early via c-section. Went in for induction, ended up with a c-section after a failed inducement. The only off thing with my pregnancy was the extraordinary edema throughout. My blood pressure only shot up the last week which is why they went to induce. No problems with placenta as far as I am aware. I had an ultra-sound at the specialist 2 weeks prior to birth. There was no breakage in the placenta and it still had plenty of "time" before the baby needed to come out due to the placenta.
We are getting the "wait and see" from the doctor but instead are going to San Diego Rady Childrens Hospital to have it checked by a specialist to make sure.
