It is so hard to have to wait to see what happens. I have been in that situation and it is so stressful. I waited too long because I was listening to our pediatrician (who was much like yours it seems) and I didn't know anything about hemangiomas at the time. That's why I love this site because it gives important information to parents. It was so helpful to me. It seems that you have educated yourself on what the newer information is on hemangiomas and that is good because you can advocate for her if needed. Since you are with her every day you will know if things start to change and you will be ready to push for that referral. You are doing a good job.
