Default Re:looking for H. support group in Seattle area.

My son is 9 months old and has multiple hemangiomas that are small and not causing any immediate problems. We live in Washington State up on the Canadian border and took him to see Dr. Jonathan Perkins at Children's Hospital. They have a vascular anomalies clinic once a month there. He ordered a liver ultrasound to make sure my son doesn't have internal hemangiomas (and he doesn't) and put a scope down his nose to check for them in his airway (also clear). Other than that, I didn't have any major questions for him. He seemed really nice and worked with a team of many other doctors. The dermatologist was very helpful with my son's eczema. :-)

Default seattle area

we are in the seattle area and my daughter is treated by Dr Perkins. WE really like him as have found him to be a very supportive and responsive Dr.He has taken good care of Izabell and has had 4 or 5 surgeries in his OR and has had wonderful results. Izzy has PHACES Association She has superficial hemangiomas on her face, neck scalp and ears and deep hemangiomas o her nose and subglotic hemangiomas in her airway which where the most concerning. She has had pulse laser treatments on her external hemangiomas, the deep nasal tip one (mostly) removed to help her breath and the subglotic ones have been removed three time and now she is breathing well and is off steriods and has much more energy.
