Surgery-Any advice would be wonderful

Has anyone had surgery for there childs bottom lip to either remove the H or just have a touch up (take extra skin away)after the H shrunk?? Does the lip look normal?? Does it have scarring?? Is it worth to do the surgery?? PLEASE if anyone has pictures of before and after surgery I would appreciate if you can either post them or send it to me by email. Malishka1983@aol.com..
