On behalf of VBF, I would like to pass on the annoucement from Dr. Levitin and his new practice location. Here is his letter to you>

Dear Friends, Patients, and Colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the opening of my new practice, The Hemangioma and Vascular Birthmark Center of Los Angeles, California, starting in August 2009.

This is an exciting time for me as I assemble a multi-disciplinary team of specialists to provide comprehensive medical, laser and surgical care for
all types of vascular birthmarks, including hemangiomas, venous
malformations, lymphatic malformations, arteriovenous malformations, and
port-wine stains.

As many of you know, I recently left the Vascular Birthmark Institute of New York after nearly 5 years, where I served as Co-Director of Surgical Services. Over the years, I have learned through your emails and feedback about the need for a significant presence on the West Coast. I am now accepting new patients and ALL insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.

This is terrific news. We have seen Dr. Waner & Dr. Levitin for treatment in New York two times and were very happy with their care and commitment. Having Dr. Levitin here in LA now will make our continued treatment so much easier on us and our daughter. Thank you for filling the west coast void Dr. Levitin and welcome to California.
