Default Need advice post-op throat swelling

Hello.

I am new to the forum. I recently had an embolization done (on 5/25) on my right facial VM. My swelling has been as expected up until tonight. I went to sleep only to wake up with a severely swollen throat and in a great deal of pain. I can hardly open my mouth and when I try to shine a light into my throat, there is too much swelling so I can't see down it. I am drinking cold liquids and took my last dose of Prednisone hoping this will help with the swelling. Any advice? Has anyone ever had this happen to them?
