Looking for after laser pictures and advice

My 6 week old had her first laser treatment a week ago. It now has a black scabby looking dot in the middle of it. Is this normal? When should the dot go away or fall off? We are scheduled for four treatments right now every 4 weeks.

Hi, my daughter has had 3 laser treatments now, and afterwards she gets black scabs that evenutally fall off (and the hemangioma looks better and lighter afterwards).

I've attached a photo of her pre-laser treatment and post-laser treatment, although you can't really see the difference that well...

Do the laser treatments cause the babes any pain? I'm looking into this for my daughter.

They are a little bit painful. Our dermatologist would put numbing cream on her face first, but she still would cry during the treatment. 5 minutes later, she was fine though.

The black scabby dot is likely the beginning of an ulcer. Make sure you keep putting the aquafor on it or whatever the doctor prescribed. Good luck!
