Smile Never Gone?

Hi all, I'm 27 yo with congenital lymphagioma on cheek and upper lip, living happily so far with my birthmark along, but recently decided to go under treatment, since it starting to give problem in speech and hope it won't swell or bleed in the future.
I'm curious to know if it's true that birthmarks; lymph malformation, hemangioma or others, will never go away completely no matter how many surgeries/treatments we had?

Cheers!
