I am a 26 yr old Caucasian female and have had discoloration around my right rue for as long as I can remember. It has gone through times of bring nearly gone to times like the past 5 years where it is dark purple/blue/black. I also have two different colored eyes...left eye is hazel and right eye is a very dark brown. The dark eye also has pigmentation in the whites.

I can't believe I have finally found a group of people who can relate to this frustrating and somewhat mysterious birthmark.

I would love to continue hearing how people are dealing with what I refer to as "black eye". Keep sharing and I'll do the same!

Any idea if there are health risks with this - or if it is hereditary?
