Yes, my daughter is on propanaole to decrease the size of her's. It has worked wonders but not quick enough.
Her BP & heart rate will drop a little & she may become a little lazy/lethargic due to the BP & HR drop.
Aleah had a ECG done of her heart before she was given the P to give us a base line. She now has monthly ECG to make sure her heart is still fine.

Hi.
I had placenta previa during my pregnancy, which eventually moved prior to labor. I also had a subchorionic hematoma, large bleed during my first trimester.
I had an ultrasound at every appointment but have no idea about any pathology information.

I was diagnosed with fetal hypoxia after the cardiotocography screening (CTG) at 32 weeks. Because of my family and working conditions, I didn't have much time to walk and rest. So long before the CTG I’d noticed that my baby was too active inside me - I think that was because she didn’t get enough oxygen.
I got a course of pentoxifillin, pyracetamum and dipyridamole therapy after the CTG.
I didn’t have any other critical problems – no early toxicosis, no preeclampsia, no bleeding, no even a cold. I didn’t take any drugs but interferon alfa2 (nasal drops) and natamycine.
During the first 5-6 weeks I had slight pain as if my periods were ready to break out (the specialist said it had been the sing of pregnancy).
Another clue is an early transvaginal ultrasound scanning (3-4 weeks). Ah, and a huge stress at those first weeks.
That’s all.

It appears as though I had placental problems. At 26 weeks, she was in the 48%ile. Thoughtout the third trimester, her growth rate slowed despite me having gestational diabetes. She was born at 38.5 weeks, and she was in the 5%ile. During my last two weeks of pregnancy, I started spilling protein and I had documented severe preeclampsia. At birth, she was diagnosed with IUGR and SGA. By one month of age, she had 4 hemangiomas. One large one on her bottom and small ones on her chest, forhead, and behind her ear.
I don't know if there is a placenta sample available. I don't remember signing documentation for it during my C-section. I had the C-section because my daughter was breech and I had high blood pressure.

I had no placental problems, but was taking norethindrone 3wks before I conceived. While there is little in the way of studies done on this drug and pregnancy, I have found a few articles that point toward the condition my son has...including mild spina bifida, genital anomalies, and vascular issues.

I had a note on my calendar to check in with you this week! How are you? Start a new thread somewhere and give me some updates, please!!
Thank you for the link. I know NOTHING about that at all... in what instance would that be prescribed?

Missy,
I used it for birth control. I was on the lowest dose possible, but I am a petite, small woman so it is possible that the lowest dose isn't as small for me (92lbs) as it would be for an average woman (125-150). It is kind of odd too, my doctor recommended this pill to help produce milk while breastfeeding...but what I read seems to suggest the opposite. We actually began having feeding problems with my daughter shortly after I started taking the pill but never thought the pill could be the problem. Once we switched her to formula she was as happy as a button. We are pretty sure that did not contribute to her death (SIDS). She was on her tummy and they think the quick change from BM to formula could have stressed her body enough to potentially shut down. We probably will never know.

I had Obstetric Cholestasis during my pregnancies which could have affected my placenta but I was never told if they had been or not so I can't really help booo - both my daughters have hemangiomas but my son doesn't.

Hi, I have a 12 week old daughter and they are telling me it is a Hemangioma. Can you please let me know all the test you had to have done and what to do to fix it so I can do everything I can for my daughter.
