Deep hemangioma

My son has been diagnosed with a deep hemangioma just above/ on his eyebrow line. It is starting to grow towards his nose and seems to be going just under his eyebrow. Our doctors are using the wait and see approach. What treatments are available? Has anyone had this removed through surgery? What are the benefits and risks of removal?

Thank you for sharing your story and webpage about your daughter Ava. It was very wonderful to see her success! She is a beautiful little girl! Since our son's hemangioma is considered deep and is located near his eye we have to go for an MRI- then we will go back and discuss with the surgeon what our options are for treatment. It is great to see success stories like your daughters!
