My son is seven weeks old and has two hemangiomas on his head. One is near his soft spot, and it is starting to form a lump underneath it (not part of the hemangioma, it is flesh colored and seems to be under the scalp). We are taking him to the ped tomorrow to see if anything needs to be done. Does anyone have any experience with this?
I agree, this sounds like a deep hemangioma. Often called a compound hemangioma if there is both red superfical portion and deep lump under the skin. Please let us know how the appt. goes. If you would like to send a picture via email, feel free to contact me directly
