Default Any news or reviews on Microskin?

I was wondering if anyone on hear has used or knows of anyone who has used Microskin? I have PWS on my hand, wrist, and portion of my chest and was wondering if this worked? Also, is there any make up artists or facilities in the chicagoland area who also uses this same technology?

thanks

when i attended the VBF conference in 2010 i think my roommate tried it. her PWS on her hand looked like a very light rash, best i can discribe, hardly noticable. It does cover the PWS but it reminded us of i forget what its called. make up after death. There was a young girl i believe she was happy with it. I think it depends on the colour too so doesn't mean its not worth trying out. Make up is not something i like or understand but i hope it helps.

Hi, I'm from TX and went to NY specifically for Microskin. I have a PWS on my right hand, arm and chest. Works great on my chest, but not so great on my hand. It's expensive at $200 for a 4 oz. bottle, plus the equipment if you don't already have an airbrush machine. If you can get over to a Temptu rep in your area for color matching, i believe the Temptu Dura or Aqua makeup provides just as good as coverage as the Microskin. It's true the hand/finger section looks like dead hand, so i just use it on my chest. I believe Temptu runs around $45 for 2 oz. Powder is $10, compared to Mircroskin at $100. Great thing about Microskin is that they do a perfect match, but I've never gone to a Temptu counter - only ordered via online and tried to color match myself, so I can't comment on Temptu's match. Good luck. Hope this helps.

hflores018,
Can you please compare Microskin with the Temptu makeup you got? Which ones gives more coverage and which one looks more natural on your skin? I have been thinking of getting Microskin, but if there is something cheaper out there and covers well it wouldn't hurt to try it.
