Default 5 year old

My daughter was born with what we assume was a supperficial one on her butt. This has completely disappeared now that she is 5. About a month ago a red dot appeared on her chest and grew into what looked like a skin tag. Her doctor said it is a mole and we are seeing a Dermo next month. Is it common for these to grow so quickly? Is it common for a 5 year old to have one appear? Will there be more to come? Should I be concerned about internal ones? The one on her chest has started bleeding, is it normal and what should I do until her appointment? Thank you in advance for your help and support.

Hi and welcome!

Hemangiomas are always present at birth, so they do not appear at 5 years old. I know that moles will pop up and grow, and also can bleed.

Can you post a photo of the growth? That would help.
