Adice needed- Hemangioma on sons nose

Hi all. I'm new here and hoping to get some advice regarding my son. He is 16 weeks old and has a combined deep and superficial hemangioma on the side of his nose. This hemangioma only became visable about 8 weeks ago. A few days ago the colour of my son's skin on his nose has turned white surrounding the hemangioma and going upto between my sons eyes and also further down the side of his nose. Does anyone know what this could be or have experienced this? I'm panicking that it is the hemangioma growing.
Would really appreciate some advice or opinions.

Can you post a photo? And, where are you located? Have you been able to see a specialist?

Hi Missy,

Thanks for your reply. I'm not having any luck attaching a photo. I will have to get my husband to show me how to do it. I'm located in Australia, New South Wales. We have a specialist appointment tomorrow but was hoping for some advice before my appointment regarding why my sons skin may have turned white surrounding the hemangioma.
