Default Foot Drop after scelotherapy

hello,

my daughter 8 years old is born with lymphatic malformation in her whole leg and thigh, she is being on treats with scelotherapy (alcohol) in her leg since she was 2 years old, three days ago she suffered from a foot drop after her scelotherapy procedure, i am so desperate, my daughter now is on steroid pills as per the Dr. instruction it should be for a week and braces as well for her dropped foot so she can walk properly, i would appreciate if any one can tell me about their recovery process from the drop foot if its recovered or if it was permanent. any info will help a lot.

I have heard of patients that recovered from foot drop, but it depends on what is causing it. Is it muscle damage or nerve damage? I think you might just have to wait and see how your daughter reacts to the steroids.

Is she any better today?
